Celebrate Women’s History Month at our next Summit Dems General Meeting
Did you know Colorado stands out when it comes to its history of elected women? Join us on Wednesday, March 18, at our monthly general meeting to watch a few clips from the documentary film Strong Sisters: Elected Women in Colorado and learn about our exceptional history. 
One of the documentary’s film makers, Laura Hoeppner, now serves as an officer with the Summit County Democratic Party. She will share clips from the film, share some of her insights, and take questions. 
Strong Sisters: Elected Women in Colorado is a 70-minute documentary film that was released in 2016. This month is the 10th anniversary of the film’s release, but the themes of the film are still relevant. If you’d like to watch the film in advance of the meeting, it’s available to watch for free on YouTube HERE. 
The Summit Dems General Meeting on Wednesday, March 18, will begin with Meet & Greet at 5:30 and the program will begin at 6:00. We meet at the Summit County Community and Senior Center, 83 Nancy’s Place, Frisco.
