FREEDOM IS FOR EVERYONE

Welcome to the Summit County, Colorado Democratic Party. We’re a small county in the heart of one of Colorado’s most popular mountain playgrounds. As Democrats we stand for community, good ideas, science, truth, and freedom for all. As a party, we believe it’s Democrats that stand for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We may be a small county but we’re active and involved in our community. Read Chairperson Pam Bradley’s Welcome Message.

Celebrate our 250th Independence Day with Summit County Democrats!

Join Summit County Democrats as we march in the Breckenridge and Frisco Fourth of July Parades! Whether you participate in one parade or both, this is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our community, show our Democratic values, and connect with neighbors in a fun, festive atmosphere.

Bring your friends—including unaffiliated voters—and help us spread positive energy while enjoying two of Summit County’s most beloved holiday traditions. Dust off your patriotic attire, gather your red, white, and blue gear, and come march with us!

Please let us know you are coming by filling out the information on this form: Click Here

Breckenridge Fourth of July Parade
The Breckenridge Fourth of July Parade begins at 10:00 AM. Participants should plan to meet and line up at 9:00 AM on Main Street in Breckenridge. We will share our exact lineup location as July 4 approaches.
The parade features community-organized floats, marching bands, and plenty of hometown spirit. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the Breckenridge parade.

Frisco Fourth of July Parade
The Frisco Fourth of July Parade begins at 1:00 PM. Participants should meet and line up at 12:00 PM on Madison Street, north of Main Street. We will share our exact lineup location closer to July 4.
The Frisco parade includes dogs on leash, horses, community-organized floats, marching bands, and lots of family-friendly fun.

What to Wear
For both parades, we encourage everyone to wear a festive Fourth of July costume or come decked out in your favorite red, white, and blue attire. The more patriotic, the better!

We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate Independence Day, support our community, and show that Summit County Democrats are engaged, welcoming, and proud to be part of these hometown traditions. We look forward to marching with you!
