June General Meeting 

Our next monthly meeting of the Summit County Democrats will take place on Wednesday, June 17, with our usual social time at 5:30 and the program will start at 6:00 pm. We will have two speakers: 

  • Len Harris who is the Young Worker & Community Organizer with the Colorado AFL-CIO, who will talk about organizing in Colorado, and
  • Wildfire Division Chief Matt Benedict of Red, White and Blue Fire District will discuss fire mitigation efforts in Summit County. 

Join us at the Summit County Community and Senior Center, 83 Nancy’s Place, Frisco. 

Wednesday, June 17:  General Meeting, 5:30 Meet & Greet, 6:00 Program, Summit County Community and Senior Center, 83 Nancy’s Place, Frisco. 

Monday, June 22: Summit Dems Book Club. 6:00 pm. We are reading Yesteryear. 

Tuesday, June 30: Primary Election Day. In Colorado this is a mail-in ballot election. All ballots must be received by the County Clerk by 7:00 pm on June 30. Summit Dems will have an Election Night Watch Party, 6:00 – 9:00 pm – look for more information in our emailed newsletter or on social media. 

Wednesday, July 15:  General Meeting, 5:30 Meet & Greet, 6:00 Program, Summit County Community and Senior Center, 83 Nancy’s Place, Frisco. 

Monday, July 27: Summit Dems Book Club. 6:00 pm. We are reading All We Say. 

Saturday, August 15: Summit Dems Annual Picnic, 4:00-7:00 pm, Carter Park in Breckenridge.

Wednesday, September 16:  General Meeting, 5:30 Meet & Greet, 6:00 Program, Summit County Community and Senior Center, 83 Nancy’s Place, Frisco.
